Festive Season in the Lowcountry
A magical place any time of year, Kiawah Island becomes truly enchanting during the festive season. Starting the week of Thanksgiving and continuing through New Year’s Day, guests can experience an abundance of holiday dining, breathtaking seasonal décor and special programming for all ages.
Thanksgiving
Every year, families gather on Kiawah Island to give thanks for one another, the tranquil surroundings of our island oasis, and the epicurean delights prepared by our exquisite culinary teams.
From a morning run on the beach to children's activities and mouth-watering pies, there's plenty to be thankful for when spending your holiday with us.
Kick Off to Christmas
Nobody rings in the holiday season quite like Kiawah Island Golf Resort! The weekend after Thanksgiving marks our official transition to all things merry and bright with a jolly array of activities for all ages—parades, a tree lighting ceremony, carols, cocoa, and appearances by Santa!
Daily Kid's Activities
The festive season brings out the kid in all of us, but there's something truly special about seeing a child experience the holidays. We invite you to discover the many ways Kiawah Island Golf Resort sparks magic for our youngest guests with our full calendar of events.
For our active guests, the resort provides a flurry of events throughout November and December to keep you moving while you enjoy the temperate, sub-tropic climate of the island.
Toast to the New Year
Observing the passing from one calendar year to the next evokes special meaning when the celebration includes a spectacular firework display over the Atlantic Ocean. From live music, to glow-in-the-dark parties for the kids, and a champagne toast at midnight, the New Year never looked so bright as it does from Kiawah Island.
