Time to get muddy! This Naturalist-lead kayak expedition is timed perfectly with the falling tides, revealing a sandbar full of marine treasure while offering your family a fun and easy adventure. Enjoy your day exploring away the crazy world of pluff mud! Catching crabs and fish, your Naturalist will make your experience fun and educational for the entire family! This tour has the shortest “Paddle Time” so it’s the perfect option for those looking for an introduction to kayaking and basic salt marsh ecology.
Participants must be 3 years old and at least 35 lbs. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No experience needed.
Standard price: $65/person. Resort guests and KICA Members: $60/person, children 3 – 11 years old: $50/person. 24-hour cancellation policy. Please call the Nature Center for reservations, 843.768.6001.
