EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

Join the Kiawah Conservancy and our presenting sponsor Kiawah Island Golf Resort for the annual Earth Day celebration in Night Heron Park! This year’s Earth Day Village will flow from the Heron Park Nature Center to the Naturally Kiawah Demonstration Garden. The celebration will feature live music by The Hot Club of Charleston, face painting stations, many educational vendors, kids crafts, a native plant giveaway, and tent talks covering a variety of environmental topics. Many talented local artists and artisans will also be showcasing and selling their work.

Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal with live animals provided by the South Carolina Aquarium and the Heron Park Nature Center. There will also be an exciting flight demonstration by The Center for Birds of Prey. It’s sure to be an afternoon of fun for the whole family!

This event is open to the public and free to attend. A special Earth Day menu will be available for purchase from The Nest Market | Café. Help us in our efforts to minimize plastic waste by bringing your own refillable water bottle. Water refill stations will be conveniently located throughout the park. Or, enjoy a refreshing lemonade available at the Nature Center.
