Teen and Youth Activities
Teen and Youth Activities are a great way to experience Kiawah, and meet new friends. Activities are held throughout the summer and during all major holidays.
All events take place at Night Heron Park, unless otherwise noted. Youth programs are designed for ages 7-12. Teen programs are designed for ages 12-17. Recreation staff is present, however, youth and teens are not individually supervised. Please note that the following schedule is subject to change. Call (843) 768-6001 for more information.
Sports and Recreation
Please read below for information regarding reservations and admission cost. Offerings are seasonal, please visit KiawahActivites.com to view times and dates of events, or call (843)768-6001. During teen events, please make necessary arrangements for transportation. Night Heron Park closes at 11pm.
3v3 Basketball Tournament
Join us at the Night Heron Park Basketball Court for a 3v3 Basketball Tournament! Come alone or with a team to play the island’s best basketball. Referees will call the game and run the tournament. Youth games begin at 7pm. Adult games begin at 8pm. Prizes awarded to the winning team in each category.
Youth tournament is open to ages 12 and under. Those 13 and over will be required to play in the adult tournament. Please arrive ten minutes early to register your team as gameplay begins promptly at 7pm and 8pm. Admission is complimentary. Reservations not required.
Archery Tag
Join the global sensation of Archery Tag! Never heard of Archery Tag? Imagine dodgeball and archery combined into one sport. This is a fast paced game that involves aim, accuracy, teamwork, strategy, and FUN!
$5 per game or $20 for unlimited game play. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Reservations not required. This event occurs during our Sun Down Festival on Wednesday evenings. Please call 843.768.6001 for more information.
Adventure Camp
Take on your own adventure with this camp for ages 8-15. Campers will explore the island and take on paddle boarding, surfing, archery, and MORE! Campers travel to Mingo Point and to the beach during camp, space is limited so advanced reservations are required.
