If you are a future guest of The Sanctuary, beach services are complimentary with your stay and do not need to be reserved. Please call (843) 768-6000 and ask for The Sanctuary Concierge for any additional questions regarding your stay.
Join Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Recreation Staff for beach chairs, umbrellas and all the toys to make the most of your beach experience. Offering a wide variety of beach amenities, great rates and friendly beach attendants. Everyone is welcome! Find us under the green umbrellas. Private beach parties and customized beach nature tours are also available.

- Boardwalk 22: 100 yards east of the boardwalk (4 minute walk) towards the Sanctuary

Beach Set
- 2 chairs, 1 umbrella and beach towel service (one towel per chair)
- $40 per day, $160 per week (4 to 7 days)

Backpack Chairs and Beach Utility Carts
Enjoy the convenience of having beach rental equipment delivered to your doorstep. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s Recreation Department offers comfortable lightweight backpack chairs and beach utility carts.
Backpack Chairs
- Allows for the flexibility to enjoy Kiawah’s beach where and when you want!
- Complimentary delivery for rental of two or more days.
- Cost: $15/day; $50/4 to 7 days
Beach Utility Carts
- Large wheels allow easy transport of beach toys and gear to and from the beach.
- Folds for easy transport in your car.
- Complimentary delivery for rental of two or more days.

Beach Toys and Games
Beach equipment can be rented year-round on a daily or weekly basis. Complimentary delivery is available for rentals of two or more days. Items are subject to availability, we encourage advance reservations, (843) 768-6001.

- Sand Toys (10 pieces) – $10/day, $30/week
- Bocce Ball Set – $10/day, $40/week

Beach games
Boards
Boogie boards, surf boards, and stand up paddleboards are available at the Sanctuary Beach, west (right) of the Sanctuary beach path, 10am – 4pm, daily. Items are subject to availability, we encourage advance reservations, (843) 768-6001.
Board Rates
- Boogie Boards – $5/hour, $15/day, $50/week
- Skim Boards – $5/hour, $15/day, $50/week
- Surfboards – $20/hour, $60/day
- Stand-up Paddleboards – $35/hour, $75/day, $240/week
*Please note the above prices do not include tax. Governor’s Club and Resort Rewards discounts apply to beach sets. We accept Kiawah Resort privilege cards, Governor’s Club, checks and all major credit cards. Cash is not accepted.
