Hurricane Relief for Jamaica

Through various government programs, Kiawah Island Golf Resort employs more than 300 people from 19 foreign countries, including many who are of Jamaican origin. When Hurricane Melissa devastated the Caribbean island as a Category 5 storm on October 28, 2025, we naturally wanted to extend the same hospitality and care for these individuals as they do for our guests every day.

Via the Kiawah Island Golf Resort Hurricane Relief for Jamaica, the resort is collecting donations for goods to directly aid our Jamaican staff and their communities in their recovery efforts.

How You Can Help

Donate Goods
Every employee will receive a barrel with a personalized list of requested items, which will be shipped to their homes and families in Jamaica. Our hope is to fill all the barrels with the following much-needed items:

For local individuals wishing to help, we encourage donations be dropped directly at the West Beach Conference Center at 2 Shipwatch Road, where our Human Resources team will ensure the items are distributed among the large barrels being shipped.

Additionally, we have made available an Amazon wish list for those who are not local to Kiawah Island and would like to donate. All Amazon orders can be shipped to:
