In addition to naming the The Sanctuary the best resort in the South, Condé Nast Traveler also named the property among the Best Resorts in the World, ranking it number 23. Furthermore, readers also voted Kiawah Island the number-two Best Island in the United States.

More than 575,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers across the United States submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting.
