DESCRIPTION:From vibrant warblers to majestic birds of prey\, the Lowcountry of South Carolina is famous for its diversity of birds during all seasons. We’ll use the van to reach several remote island habitats to seek out dozens of bird species\, both large and small\, and learn about the natural history of our avian wildlife. If you are new to birding\, join us on a Intro to Birding walking tour. \nOur van tours are a great way to get out and about on the island with a Naturalist. The van will take us to various locations\, where we’ll disembark and explore each area. Recommended for ages 14 and up.  All nature tours have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Well\,  in the Nature Center located at Night Heron Park\, our Naturalists will be able to show you the answer to that question\, as well as answer any other questions you may have about these slithery serpents. \nThis complimentary show is conducted at the discretion of the Naturalists\, with barriers in place to keep viewers from being too close to the feeding animals. \n Please note snakes are predators and are fed a thawed mouse product that may be visibly distressing to onlookers and children.

DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered how a snake eats? Well\,  in the Nature Center located at Night Heron Park\, our Naturalists will be able to show you the answer to that question\, as well as answer any other questions you may have about these slithery serpents. \nThis complimentary show is conducted at the discretion of the Naturalists\, with barriers in place to keep viewers from being too close to the feeding animals. \n Please note snakes are predators and are fed a thawed mouse product that may be visibly distressing to onlookers and children.
