Back Island Birding

An event every week that begins at 7:30 am on Thursday and Saturday, repeating until August 31, 2022
From vibrant warblers to majestic birds of prey, the lowcountry of South Carolina is famous for its diversity of birds during all seasons. We’ll use the van to reach several remote island habitats to seek out dozens of bird species, both large and small, and learn about the natural history of our avian wildlife. If you are new to birding, join us on a Birding for Beginners walking tour.
Our van tours are a great way to get out and about on the island with a Naturalist. The van will take us to various locations, where we’ll disembark and explore each area. All nature tours have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Schedule is subject to change. Reservations required, 843.768.6001. Ages 14+.
