Equipped with binoculars, you and your family will disembark from Night Heron Park and travel to our favorite alligator hang outs. While we will spend some time in the van, walking will be involved at each location.
$40/ person, Reservations are required, call 843.768.6001. A 24 hour cancellation policy policy applies. Schedule subject to change.
“Alligators are fascinating creatures and should by all means be enjoyed as part of the natural beauty of our region. But please remember that they are wild animals and should be respected as such. Once they become too familiar with people, they lose their fear of humans, necessitating their removal from the area for the safety of everyone concerned. A few precautions on our part can help both humans and alligators co-exist safely.”
–Dr. J. Whitfield Gibbons
- Don’t feed alligators.
- Keep your distance.
- It is illegal to harass or throw things at alligators.
