Experience three days of great cars in a beautiful setting at the re-tooled Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat. From Friday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17, the event will showcase some of the finest vehicles on the East Coast, and beyond.

Attendees will experience more than 75 concours level automobiles in a picturesque, Lowcountry setting on beautiful Kiawah Island—host of the 94th PGA Championship this past August—displayed along the fairway of the 18th Hole of the exclusive River Course.

Scheduled events include:

Friday, November 15: For avid collectors and enthusiasts, a seminar of current collectible car valuations will be held in the afternoon.  This will be followed by a Gala banquet at the Kiawah Island Club’s River Course Clubhouse from 6 – 9:30 p.m. The banquet will feature a classic car preview, dinner, cocktails, live music and a silent auction. Tickets are $100 per person, and can be purchased at  Proceeds will benefit the Kiawah Island Conservancy and the Children’s Center at MUSC.

Saturday, November 16: Main Event – Make your way to the 18th Hole of the River Course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Main Event, which is expected to feature scores of concours-quality cars. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 day of, and can be purchased at A $65 VIP Package is available and includes VIP parking, lunch at the River Course Clubhouse and a preferred seating area. This event will be held rain or shine.

Sunday, November 17:  Sea Island Road Tour – Wrap up the weekend with a scenic Road Tour around the beautiful Sea Islands from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Participants will hit the streets to show off their rides, picking up clues along the way.  Prizes and a brunch will cap the event.  Registration is required, and spots can be reserved on the website (Ticketed. A panel of judges featuring renowned auto consultant and broker, Dave Olimpi, will assess the cars and award trophies in a variety of categories, including “Best in Show.” Olimpi began his career working at the factory-authorized Ferrari dealer in Philadelphia and has spent time at the factory in Maranello, Italy. He has been a national Concours judge for the Ferrari Club of America for several years, having participated in events like the Cavallino Classic and Concourso Italiano. In addition to the Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat, Dave serves as the Chief Judge for the Maryland’s St. Michaels Concours d’Elegance, as well as the Bahamas Speed Week Revival Concours at Lyford Cay in Nassau.
