Kiawah Island Golf Resort's signature restaurant, The Ocean Room, offers luxurious oceanfront dining with a truly unique experience. Nationally acclaimed Chef Kevin Ives and team present modern interpretation of classical cuisine, which strikes a balance between classical and regional concepts, brought to life through Chef Ives' modern interpretation of ingredients and flavors.
The Ocean Room strives to marry the best of old world cuisine, modern technique and presentation with a true appreciation of history and artistic expression. Inspired by the "old world meets new" cuisine concept, the dining room's palatial opulence is laced with the comfort of true southern hospitality.
The Ocean Room offers two private rooms that seat up to 18 guests
comfortably. One of the rooms overlooks the greens and the ocean, the
other called the "Wine Room", with walnut floors and mahogany wine
racks filled with intellectual delights.
The Wine Program 
Without question, our wine program is enticing to all lovers of the vine. Our goal is to compile a list to showcase the qualities and characteristics of the world's finest varietals, regions, growers and producers. To compliment and enhance the cuisine and dining experience, each member of our staff is trained and knowledgeable of the concepts of both food and wine, in turn giving each and every guest a clear understanding of the cuisine, preparation, history, origin and flavor. The Bar at The Ocean Room
Located adjacent to the restaurant, The Bar at The Ocean Room provides the perfect place to enjoy a fresh fruit Martini or specialty infused spirit. Perhaps you would prefer one of our rare and fine cognacs with a cigar on the patio overlooking the ocean. Savor that beautiful ocean view while sitting next to the fireplace amid magogany paneling or on the Chesterfield leather sofa while tasting artisanal or fam house cheese plates. The bar also offers a menu for the ladies and gentlemen that would like a less formal experience, but the same level of perfection.
